MINIMUM WAGE UPDATE

Here's the Burger-Flipping Robot That Could Put Fast-Food Workers Out Of a Job

The company's robot can "slice toppings like tomatoes and pickles immediately before it places the slice onto your burger, giving you the freshest burger possible." The robot is "more consistent, more sanitary, and can produce ~360 hamburgers per hour." That's one burger every 10 seconds.

I hate to say I told you so, but “I TOLD YOU SO”.

Some of you are probably old enough to remember back when every time you drove into a gas station, 2 or 3 or perhaps more employees came out to your car.   One would put the gas in for you while another would check under the hood to make sure the oil and everything was OK.  Another would check the air pressure in your tires, and add air if needed.

Are you smart enough to guess why they quit doing that?

That’s right, something called minimum wage forced them to fire all but the bare minimum number of employees.  They learned how to get by without them, and the fast food industry will do the same.

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR.
