NAACP and black ministers’ betrayal of blacks

Are you folks as sick of reading my articles on this topic as I am writing about it? Just as Ronald Reagan said to Jimmy Carter during the 1980 debate, I say to the NAACP, “Well, there you go again”; more distortions, lies and tired old, “we shall overcome” 1950’s rhetoric.

Tragically, this once-great organization has been hijacked by far left radical America-hating socialists. Thus, the NAACP is relentless in their efforts to portray American race relations as having progressed very little since the 1950’s; ignoring obvious evidence to the contrary, a black first family occupying the White House.

The NAACP’s modus operandi is simple, a one-trick pony. Their strategy is to despicably declare every issue and all opposition “racist.”

Along with their daily attempts to brand the tea party racist, here is the NAACP’s latest attempt to use race baiting to get out the black vote for Obama in 2012.

Rev. William Barber, president of the NAACP’s North Carolina conference said, “We must fight against any attempt to segregate, isolate and steal the black vote.” This is a perfect example of tired old, we shall overcome” 1950’s rhetoric. Who on earth is stifling the black vote? If such an initiative were true, wouldn’t the Obama worshiping media be all over the story? So, what the heck is this race baiting preacher talking about?

Rev. Barber’s statement is nothing more than tried and true words guaranteed to evoke a knee jerk hateful response in brain dead black racist ideologues.

Rev. Barber is responding to states demanding that voters show proper ID, which, surprise, surprise, the NAACP has deemed to be racist.

Can someone please explain to me how requiring voters to confirm they are who they say they are, live where they say they live and are a U.S. citizen has a racial component?

I do see a racial component from the NAACP’s point of view. They are, in essence, saying blacks are too stupid to find their way to the DMV and other places to acquire legal ID. One could argue, if blacks are that stupid, why on earth should they be allowed to vote?

I’m being sarcastic, but you get my point. These so called advocates for blacks and other minorities do a tremendous disservice to the very people they claim to care about. Imagine the negative impact on your self esteem when you are constantly told you do not measure up and need standards lowered in order to be successful. The left sends this message to blacks all the time. This is called the Bigotry of Low Expectations.

I have also noticed how the NAACP and others on the left use the Black Church and black ministers to sell liberal political candidates and their socialistic agenda to Black America. This is particularly hypocritical and obnoxious considering the left’s disdain for all things Christian and their banning of God from the public square.

Courting the black vote, Hillary Clinton ran to the black church during her presidential campaign. Hillary transformed herself in an instant into Rev. Soul Sista Clinton. Evoking her best attempt at a black dialect, she orated, “I ain’t no wheres tired!” The all black congregation erupted with applause.

Imagine what would happen to a white Republican attempting to sound black while addressing a black congregation. Boys and girls, can you say politically tarred and feathered?

“Can you believe that cracker trying to sound black,” would be the out cry of outraged black parishioners.
As a life long black PK (preacher’s kid), I know from whence I speak when I say ministers are held in the highest regard in the black community. This is why I find it quite despicable every time the left uses black ministers to “herd” blacks into the direction of their socialistic agenda. This tactic is an ungodly betrayal.

Rev. Barber, Rev Sharpton and Rev. Wright to name only a few are nothing more than Liberal Plantation overseers and Black Civil Rights Mafia enforcers; punishing any black who dares to display independent thought, success via conservatism and love for their country.

Black conservatives, such as myself, are vilified as traitors to our race and even threatened with bodily harm. More often than not, driven by our faith, our goal is to liberate fellow blacks from self-induced limitations. We strive to open black America’s eyes to the reality that they are extremely blessed to have been born in America, the greatest land of opportunity on the planet for ALL who choose to go for it!

Meanwhile, the NAACP, and certain so-called black men of God, are doing severe damage to their flock. Make no mistake about it, selling racial hatred blended with victim and entitlement mindsets is poison; an anathema to the human spirit, individual success and happiness.

Don Corleone in “The Godfather” movie cautioned his son Michael to expect an attempt on his life. The experienced old father added that his son’s enemy would use a dear longtime friend as the betrayer.

This same scenario is happening in the black community. The left is using the black community’s dear longtime friends to betray them; the iconic NAACP and the highly esteemed black ministry. They are infusing black America with racial hate via race profiteering to sell their anti-American socialistic agenda.
Despite their rhetoric, much of the modern day civil rights movement ceased being about black empowerment and freedom many moons ago. Their once-noble movement has become all about power and control which is extremely unfortunate.

The Future of Fox News in Jeopardy

A former competitor of Rupert Murdoch is coming to the defense of the media mogul, saying that he is “at the top of the ‘Most Wanted’ list of every Socialist/Communist activist in the world today” and that the demise of his media empire would do terrible damage to conservatism and Western civilization.
Murdoch, who is 80 years old, is chairman and CEO of News Corporation, the world’s leading publisher of English-language newspapers and their on-line affiliates. Fox News Channel in the U.S. is one of its leading subsidiaries.

Alan M. Metcalfe, Chairman/CEO of Safe Worlds TV in Australia, says that the hounds are still “barking for Rupert Murdoch’s blood” but hopes they will not ultimately succeed in destroying his worldwide media organization.  He also hopes that Murdoch’s son, James, the heir apparent at News Corporation, is “looking, listening, and learning at this important time in his family’s long and illustrious history.”

James Murdoch is considered the more liberal of Murdoch’s two sons and has been handling Asian and European operations for the company.. Some unsubstantiated reports suggest that he is at the center of the telephone hacking scandal and that he could be forced to resign.

Conservatives hope that James Murdoch understands that the “progressives” that he has tried to cultivate as friends and associates are out to undermine the company.

On August 9, so-called “progressives” arranged an on-line discussion to accelerate the campaign against Fox News. Hosted by Robert Greenwald, producer of the film, Outfoxed, the participants were:

• Cenk Uygur – Co-founder of The Young Turks and former MSNBC host
• Eli Pariser – MoveOn.org
• Ellen Brodsky – News Hounds
• Ilyse Hogue – Senior Advisor to Media Matters
• James Rucker – Co-founder of ColorofChange.org
• Janeane Garofalo – Actor/Comedian
• Katrina vanden Heuvel – Editor of The Nation
• Axel Caballero – Founder/Producer of Cuéntame

One of their complaints about the Fox News Channel was that various anchors and guests had cited documentation about President Obama’s socialist opinions and connections. Another was that Fox News had highlighted the extreme views of Obama’s pastor, Jeremiah Wright. One of the participants, James Rucker, and his organization were credited with “getting Glenn Beck off the air.”

News Corporation can, of course, defend itself. But the comments of Metcalfe, an Australian, are significant, since he describes himself as having been “a very small-time competitor in the marketplace” with Murdoch, who began his career in Australia. Metcalfe greatly appreciates what Murdoch has done for conservative causes around the world and has a global perspective on the crisis affecting the media company. His comments appeared in an article entitled, “Rupert Murdoch—another perspective.”

He explains, “God only knows where the world would be, in my opinion, without Fox News and his other media ventures. I am fully aware that his acquisitions can be described as very smart business decisions, especially Fox News. He has obviously made a lot of money out of this and others, however, when we say this, we must acknowledge the considerable political heat that Mr. Murdoch has taken; which is difficult for any publisher to ignore. Hiring and keeping Glenn Beck on the air, as long as he did, will probably go down in publishing history as one of the truly game breaking decisions in the history of political media. Without Beck on Fox News, the Tea Party movement would almost certainly not have been as successful as it has been; and for this, I have to say that America and the world should be very grateful.”

Beck left the company after left-wing groups mounted a campaign to have him evicted from a position as host of a Fox News Channel program. He has now launched an Internet TV channel.

At the same time, Metcalfe notes that, “As an openly committed Christian Conservative, I have disagreed with his [Murdoch’s] support, at different times, for Socialist/Labor Parties that have enabled these entities to gain power and further their agendas.”

Metcalfe’s point in this regard is important, especially in view of the perception that Murdoch only supports “right-wing” and Republican causes in the U.S. As AIM’s Roger Aronoff has pointed out, Murdoch has a history of supporting Democrats as well as Republicans. Murdoch openly supported Al Gore in his 2000 bid for the White House and made an in-kind contribution to the Democrats that year worth an estimated $10 million. Later, he raised funds for Hillary Clinton.

The most recent list of political contributions from News Corporation and its subsidiaries shows recipients that include New York’s Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo and California Attorney General Democrat Kamala Harris.

In regard to the allegations about the unsavory conduct of one of his British newspapers, Metcalfe says, “…like everyone else, I am appalled at this sort of activity. I also happen to believe that Rupert Murdoch would not condone such activity. He may be a lot of things, however, I do not believe that he is a fool; and for a man in his position to condone such activity (post-Watergate and Richard Nixon), would be very foolish. It is more than I am prepared to believe on hearsay evidence. As the publisher however, ‘the buck stops’ with him; and he must accept responsibility; as I believe he has, to the extent necessary.”

In a July 6 statement, Murdoch said, “Recent allegations of phone hacking and making payments to police with respect to the News of the World are deplorable and unacceptable. I have made clear that our company must fully and proactively cooperate with the police in all investigations and that is exactly what News International has been doing and will continue to do under Rebekah Brooks’ leadership. We are committed to addressing these issues fully and have taken a number of important steps to prevent them from happening again. I have also appointed Joel Klein to provide important oversight and guidance and Joel and Viet Dinh, an Independent Director, are keeping News Corporation’s Board fully advised as well.”

Brooks and Les Hinton resigned a week later. The CEO of Dow Jones, parent of The Wall Street Journal, Hinton had preceded Brooks as chairman of News International, the News Corporation subsidiary in charge of the newspaper, News of the World, at the center of the phone hacking scandal. The paper was closed down in response to the allegations.

Gay Men Want to Taint Nation’s Blood Supply…Again

In 1993, tennis champion Arthur Ashe died as the result of receiving a blood transfusion that was tainted with the AIDS virus. Ashe was not homosexual, but the donor of the blood was.

Earlier, in 1985 as the AIDS epidemic began decimating large numbers of homosexuals, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) instituted a rule that homosexual men could not be blood donors.

Guess what? The nation’s homosexuals want to have that ban removed in much the same way they have successfully lobbied to get some States to accept same-sex marriage.

Supporting the effort to taint the nation’s blood supply are Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) and Rep. Mike Quigley (D-IL). Working with them is the Obama administration’s Health and Human Services Secretary, Kathleen Sebelius.

It gets worse. Even the Red Cross is on record for lifting the ban. Until such time as the Red Cross makes it clear that it will uphold and enforce the ban, financial donations should be withheld.

When your life hangs in the balance, do you really want to receive blood that may, in turn, infect you with AIDS?

Do you believe the ban should be lifted because it represents an issue of “discrimination” or “fairness”? That’s what homosexual activist groups are claiming and, frankly, in matters of life and death, I want the FDA to discriminate in favor of protecting life.

A recent article in the National Journal put the issue in perspective: “Men who have sex with other men, including gay and bisexual men, have an HIV infection rate 60 times higher than that of the general population, the FDA says.”

“They have an infection rate 800 times higher than first-time donors and 8,000 times higher than the rate of repeat blood donors. Tests cannot pick up a new HIV infection in the blood with 100 percent accuracy; because blood is often pooled, many people may be at risk from a single infected donor.”

According to the Red Cross estimates, every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood and more than 38,000 blood donations are needed every day. One out of every ten people admitted to a hospital needs blood.

I don’t want to live in an America where the need for a blood transfusion puts anyone at risk for AIDS.
I want to understand why, in the midst of the worst financial crisis in a decade, the U.S. government gave a grant of a million dollars for a study of “The Association between Penis Size and Sexual Health among Men Who Have Sex with Men.” The study ran for five years and was subsidized by the National Institute of Health.

Previously I have written that the Obama administration is the most gay-friendly in the nation’s history, but tainting the nation’s blood supply by lifting the ban on homosexual men as donors defies sanity.

It is rapidly becoming evident that the election of Barack Obama has ushered in a period of fiscal insanity, but I shudder to think that this nation might have elected Sen. John Kerry president in 2004. Along with Rep. Quigley he has been pushing HHS to end “the outdated, discriminatory lifetime ban on gay and bisexual men from donating blood.”

This is way beyond stupid. It is negligence and pandering on a scale that will literally put people’s lives at risk.

I don’t care if gays are offended by the ban.

I don’t want men marrying men or women marrying women.

I don’t want children to be indoctrinated in the nation’s schools to believe that there is anything “normal” about homosexuality.

I don’t care if gays are offended by this expression of my opinion. You’re not “special”, you’re just gay.
This is about life and death in America, not sexual preferences.

A Speech Every American High School Principal Should Give....By Dennis Prager. (Conservative commentator on topics ranging from personal and social issues, to morality and religion.)

To the students and faculty of our high school:

I am your new principal, and honored to be so. There is no greater calling than to teach young people.

I would like to apprise you of some important changes coming to our school. I am making these changes because I am convinced that most of the ideas that have dominated public education in America have worked against you, against your teachers and against our country.

First, this school will no longer honor race or ethnicity. I could not care less if your racial makeup is black, brown, red, yellow or white. I could not care less if your origins are African, Latin American, Asian or European, or if your ancestors arrived here on the Mayflower or on slave ships. The only identity I care about, the only one this school will recognize, is your individual identity -- your character, your scholarship, your humanity. And the only national identity this school will care about is American.

This is an American public school, and American public schools were created to make better Americans. If you wish to affirm an ethnic, racial or religious identity through school, you will have to go elsewhere. We will end all ethnicity, race and non-American nationality-based celebrations. They undermine the motto of America, one of its three central values -- e pluribus Unum, "from many, one." And this school will be guided by America 's values. This includes all after-school clubs. I will not authorize clubs that divide students based on any identities. This includes race, language, religion, sexual orientation or whatever else may become in vogue in a society divided by political correctness.

Your clubs will be based on interests and passions, not blood, ethnic, racial or other physically defined ties. Those clubs just cultivate narcissism -- an unhealthy preoccupation with the self -- while the purpose of education is to get you to think beyond yourself. So we will have clubs that transport you to the wonders and glories of art, music, astronomy, languages you do not already speak, carpentry and more. If the only extracurricular activities you can imagine being interested in are those based on ethnic, racial or sexual identity, that means that little outside of yourself really interests you.

Second, I am uninterested in whether English is your native language. My only interest in terms of language is that you leave this school speaking and writing English as fluently as possible. The English language has united America's citizens for over 200 years, and it will unite us at this school. It is one of the indispensable reasons this country of immigrants has always come to be one country. And if you leave this school without excellent English language skills, I would be remiss in my duty to ensure that you will be prepared to successfully compete in the American job market. We will learn other languages here -- it is deplorable that most Americans only speak English --but if you want classes taught in your native language rather than in English, this is not your school.

Third, because I regard learning as a sacred endeavor, everything in this school will reflect learning's elevated status. This means, among other things, that you and your teachers will dress accordingly. Many people in our society dress more formally for Hollywood events than for church or school. These people have their priorities backward. Therefore, there will be a formal dress code at this school.

Fourth, no obscene language will be tolerated anywhere on this school's property -- whether in class, in the hallways or at athletic events. If you can't speak without using the f-word, you can't speak. By obscene language I mean the words banned by the Federal Communications Commission, plus epithets such as " ------ ," even when used by one black student to address another black, or " ----- ," even when addressed by a girl to a girlfriend. It is my intent that by the time you leave this school, you will be among the few your age to instinctively distinguish between the elevated and the degraded, the holy and the obscene.

Fifth,we will end all self-esteem programs. In this school, self-esteem will be attained in only one way -- the way people attained it until decided otherwise a generation ago -- by earning it. One immediate consequence is that there will be one valedictorian, not eight.

Sixth, and last, I am reorienting the school toward academics and away from politics and propaganda. No more time will be devoted to scaring you about smoking and caffeine, or terrifying you about sexual harassment or global warming. No more semesters will be devoted to condom wearing and teaching you to regard sexual relations as only or primarily a health issue. There will be no more attempts to convince you that you are a victim because you are not white, or not male, or not heterosexual or not Christian. We will have failed if any one of you graduates this school and does not consider him or herself inordinately lucky -- to be alive and to be an American.

Now, please stand and join me in the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag of our country. As many of you do not know the words, your teachers will hand them out to you.
