I remember back when George
Bush was President, the Democrat’s favorite slogan was “Bush
Lied and People Died”.
The Democrats used that slogan in an attempt to propagate the false
notion that the reason we were at war in Iraq was because the President had lied about Iraq having weapons of mass destruction. The truth was, Congress had access to the
very same intelligence information as the President, and based upon that
information, THEY VOTED in favor of the war.
Republicans now need to revive that slogan until Congress gets to the
truth about Benghazi.
Everyone with
half a brain knows full well that President Obama lied to the American people,
plain and simple. He stood in the Rose
Garden on September 12, 2012 and refused to call the attack on our Benghazi consulate a terrorist
attack. What did the
Commander in Chief do in the days following the Benghazi attack? He
went around the country and blamed the attack on an out-of-control protest in
response to a low-budget YouTube video. That
was a lie!
Barack Obama won re-election on a campaign slogan that “al-Qaeda was on
the run.” He repeated that phrase for
over a year on the campaign trail. So,
of course, when a well -coordinated terrorist attack took place in a country
Obama claimed to have ‘democratized’ and ended up killing a U.S. ambassador and three other Americans, Obama covered
it up. He played the waiting game, as he
always does.
And, it wasn’t JUST Obama, Susan Rice, Hillary Clinton, and the rest of
Obama’s cronies stood before the country and the world and continued to push a
narrative they all knew to be a lie. They
did this to protect the President’s “tough-on-terrorism” narrative during an
election year!
We are sick and tired of being lied to! We are sick and tired of elected officials
looking us in the eyes and lying because they think we’re too stupid to realize
it!
We know that the military commanders instantly knew it was a terrorist
attack; we know that
these military leaders informed Sec. of Defense Leon Panetta that it was a
terrorist attack; and we also know that Leon Panetta briefed the President on
the incident for thirty minutes. The
only thing we don’t know yet is whether Leon Panetta told the President that a
terrorist attack was taking place in Benghazi.
All Americans must take a stand and demand that Congress ask Leon
Panetta this one simple question, under oath “Did you tell Obama that Benghazi was a terrorist attack?” Why have they not yet done that? Because YOU haven’t put their feet to the fire
and forced them to!
Obama lied about Benghazi
and 4 Americans died! You MUST force Congress to subpoena Sec. of Defense Leon
Panetta to prove, once and for all, that Obama knew it was a terrorist attack
all along and lied to save his hide!
You don’t have to be a military genius to know that people don’t usually
show up to demonstrations with machine guns, rocket launchers, or mortars, and
spontaneous attacks seldom have ambush points and pre-planned “kill zones.”
Benghazi wasn’t an accident and it wasn’t some protest gone
awry. This was a well-orchestrated
terrorist attack perpetrated by Islamic extremists that claimed the lives of 4
brave Americans. It took place on the
anniversary of 9/11, for goodness sake… and the Obama administration still
claims that it couldn’t see through the ‘fog of war’ and recognize the attack
for what it was.
We already know that military commanders briefed Leon Panetta that Benghazi was a terrorist attack. That much was revealed during General Carter
Ham’s testimony before Congress. But
every time Obama is asked whether he was briefed on the fact that it was a
terrorist attack, he abruptly changes the subject!
We can put an end to this NOW! Congress must subpoena former Sec.
of Defense Leon Panetta! He is the key
to uncovering this whole scandal!
Leon Panetta was briefed by his commanders that the Benghazi attack was an act of terrorism. Panetta’s job is to literally relay this EXACT
information upwards to the President. One
of the only things we don’t know about the entire Benghazi response is what Panetta told President Obama.
If Panetta told the President that it was a terrorist attack, then
Obama’s Presidency is over. For far too
long, we have allowed Obama to feign ignorance and claim that he knew nothing
about the scandals rocking this administration. Whenever scandal hits, Obama
seems to just claim he knows nothing about it.
We MUST not allow Obama to continue dodging the truth! He must not be allowed to continue to
disgrace the brave men who sacrificed their lives in Benghazi!
We know for an absolute fact that Leon Panetta talked to the President
for 30-minutes. We know for a fact that
Panetta briefed the President on what the military commanders relayed to him. Every ounce of common sense suggests that Leon
Panetta told Barack Obama that terrorists were attacking our consulate in Benghazi, Libya.
Regardless of
what his testimony reveals, we will learn one of two things: Either the Secretary of Defense misled the President by failing to pass
on the intelligence gathered by our military commanders, OR the President knew Benghazi was a terrorist attack from the beginning and
deliberately misled the American people!
In the aftermath of any attack, we must always examine whether the
systems we have in place actually worked to fully brief the President. If Panetta did not mention that what happened
in Benghazi was a terrorist attack, then we need to restructure
the President’s advisory system to ensure that he always has up-to-the-minute
intelligence.
But if, as everyone assumes, Leon Panetta told President Obama that a
terrorist attack was taking place in Benghazi, then everything that Barack
Obama and his underlings said in the weeks following the attack were COMPLETE
LIES!
Only Congress can subpoena Leon Panetta and force him to testify on the
record and since he is no longer in the Obama administration, the Democrats
can’t stop him from testifying!
This is a call to action! I am begging
you and every American Citizen to call, Fax, or email Congress and FORCE them
to put Leon Panetta on the stand!
