I have sympathy for, and want
to help these illegal alien children that are coming across our border, but I
cannot just sit back and watch what is happening to our nation’s public
schools.
They are being overrun by illegal aliens who are taking advantage of
the system in order to receive a taxpayer-funded
education. Remember that
it is your tax dollars
that are subsidizing education for these illegals!
In 1982, the Supreme Court case Plyer v. Doe decided
that it was unconstitutional for states to prohibit illegal immigrants from
attending public schools. Back when the
illegal immigration problem wasn’t nearly as bad, the court ruled that adding a
few illegals to public school classrooms wouldn’t negatively affect American
students in a noticeable way. Therefore,
the taxpayers had to just absorb these free-riders (people who take advantage
of services without paying into them).
Now fast-forward thirty years… This country is under assault and our
already bankrupt benefits programs are being siphoned off to subsidize illegal
aliens’ existence!
In an attempt to make the impact less noticeable, the Obama
administration has been taking illegal aliens and spreading them across the
country. Even Alaska and Hawaii are having illegal aliens dumped in their states. The goal is to spread these illegal aliens out
as much as possible to delay the backlash from the American people.
As the Supreme Court ruled, as long as illegals don’t weigh too heavily
on one system and severely deprive taxpayers, they are allowed to take
advantage taxpayer funded services. Well,
ask the people of Nassau County in Long Island, New York how they feel about 1,096
illegal alien children being added into their schools. Or ask Houston-area Harris County in Texas which has been forced to add 2,866 illegal alien
children into the school system.
Not only was the Supreme Court wrong in 1982, but the Court is wrong
now. We have entire schools being
overrun. We have classrooms that are now
standing room only because the schools don’t have room to accommodate that many
students. We have classrooms now where
more than half of the students can’t read or write and don’t even speak
English!
The Obama administration is hoping that the relocation program will
slide under the radar, but even that is failing!
Judith Flanagan Kennedy is the Mayor of Lynn, Massachusetts, a town of
90,000 people just ten miles north of Boston. This Mayor is
speaking out, demanding that Congress stop
the influx of illegal aliens in her school district. In just one year, the Town of Lynn has seen the number of illegal alien children double
from 56 in 2013 to 101 so far this year. That might not seem like a lot, but it is
pushing the town’s school district over the edge.
But you see, not only are illegal alien children enrolling in her
town’s schools, but illegal alien adults are enrolling as well!
Now I know what you’re thinking: How can illegal alien adults get away
with enrolling in public school? Wouldn’t
it be obvious that they were too old?
Well, federal regulations now prohibit the schools from verifying the
ages of illegal aliens. This is a new
regulation released by Eric Holder’s Department of Justice earlier this spring.
If you or I tried to enroll in High
School or Middle School, we’d be kicked out and likely arrested.
But the rules are different for illegal aliens and these criminals are
taking advantage of the system! Many of
these illegal alien “students” have graying hair and wrinkles, but our school
administrators are powerless to stop them from enrolling.
How is this acceptable? How is
it acceptable to have 37 year-old illegal alien men enrolling in High School? For all we know, these men could be pedophiles
or even worse!
On top of that, the DOJ has also threatened fines and criminal
prosecution against any school that attempts to verify an illegal’s age,
residence, or even their vaccination records!
The Obama administration is telling schools to turn a blind eye to any residency
requirement and just list illegals as ‘homeless’ so they can enroll. The Department of Education is telling schools
to waive
vaccination requirements and allow illegals to enroll in school right away.
And the administration is threatening to
punish any school administrator that turns away an illegal alien for being
clearly too old for school…
This is a serious problem that We
the People cannot ignore! Most
public schools across the country have already started, or start today.
As it stands now, the Department of Justice is preventing school
districts from vaccinating illegals, verifying their ages, or even enforcing
the school’s residency requirements.
How many illegal alien pedophiles are going to enroll in schools across
America? How many
illegal alien students are going to bring Meningitis or Tuberculosis into the
classroom? How many American students
will needlessly suffer because the Obama administration favors illegals over
citizens?
One would be far too many!
The Supreme Court was wrong in 1982 and it is wrong now. This isn’t about compassion… this is about
protecting our children!
The Obama administration has elevated illegal aliens to a privileged
class where the rules don’t apply to them. What is going on in our schools is merely a symptom
of a much larger problem!
If we are going to have any hope of protecting our children and
stopping these ridiculous Obama administration regulations, then you MUST raise
your voice! You MUST join the chorus of
millions of angry patriots and DEMAND that Congress intervene!
It is time to draw your line in the sand! It is time to stand up to the Obama
administration and say that enough is enough!
