LORETTA LYNCH MUST NOT BECOME ATTORNEY GENERAL...Not Now, Not Ever.

Eight members of the House of Representatives published an open letter to the United States Senate urging them to reject Loretta Lynch as the nominee to follow Eric Holder as United States Attorney General.

The Congressmen wrote that while they recognize the power to advise and consent lies within the Senate, it does not mandate approval of unqualified nominees, in fact, it mandates their rejection.

They noted a lack of commitment to the rule of law on the part of Lynch and illustrated some specific areas of concern. The Representatives asserted that the tenure of Eric Holder as Attorney General has been one in which the Justice Department has been transformed into little more than a political arm of the Obama regime. They noted that Ms. Lynch, when given the opportunity to differentiate herself from Holder declined to do so.

They also pointed out that Lynch, when asked directly and specifically about the Fast and Furious scandal made no attempt to answer the questions, but rather “she obfuscated and avoided.”

As for the issue of an illegal dictatorial decree and rewriting of immigration laws, the Congressmen noted that Lynch found the actions and the “concocted” legal rationale used to validate them to be “reasonable.” They addressed how “Not once during the hearing did Ms. Lynch ever disavow — or even question — the legality of the ‘president’s’ actions.”

They closed their letter, saying, “We believe the confirmation of Ms. Lynch would be a vote in support of President Obama’s assault against the Constitution and the lawlessness of his administration. A vote for this nominee should fairly be considered a vote against the will of the American people. In that regard, we respectfully urge our colleagues in the Senate to reject the nomination of Ms. Lynch.”

The eight House members who wrote and signed the letter are: Brian Babin (R-TX), Jeff Duncan (R-SC), Trent Franks (R-AZ), Vicky Hartzler (R-MO), Jody Hice (R-GA), Barry Loudermilk (R-GA), Gary Palmer (R-AL), and John Ratcliffe (R-TX).

As the video below indicates, her comments highlight her racist views, her pride in serving “at the pleasure” of the first black “president” and with the first black Attorney General. While her racism wasn’t included in the list of reasons not to vote to confirm Lynch, it clearly should have been.

The number of Americans 16 years and older who did not participate in the labor force--meaning they neither had a job nor actively sought one in the last four weeks--rose from 92,898,000 in February to 93,175,000 in March, according to data released today by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
That is the first time the number of Americans out of the labor force has exceeded 93 million.

Obama's attorney general pick gains another Republican backer

Republican Senator Mark Kirk announced his support, possibly providing a crucial 51st vote for the embattled nominee.

All 44 Senate Democrats and two independents are expected to vote for Lynch, who would be the first African-American woman to head the Justice Department.
Prior to Thursday, four Republicans indicated they would vote for Lynch's nomination, and with Kirk, there potentially would be a majority in the Senate to confirm her.  So, bottom line is “we are being sold out by FIVE RINOS.
