VIOLENCE ACROSS THE MUSLIM WORLD

IN Nov. 2007 OBAMA SAID (click on link)  The Day I'm Inaugurated Muslim Hostility Will Ease...

Last week, Muslim mobs took to the streets to murder the American ambassador in Libya and three of his staffers.  American embassies were attacked from Egypt to Yemen.

Embarrassed White House Press Secretary Jay Carney and U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice insisted that these assaults were just reactions to an insensitive video circulating on the Internet that disparaged Islam.  As embassies burned, we were assured that there was no animosity directed at America in general, or at this administration and its foreign policy in particular.

I know bullshit when I see it and I think most of us do.   The weeks-old video was a mere pretext, in the manner of the Danish cartoons that Islamists use to stir up mobs in their war against the West. The street rioting was long ago synchronized across the Middle East to celebrate the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

Apparently, the administration was left stunned and without a clue about the latest Middle East madness even though they were warned three days in advance.

President Obama chose not to support nearly a million Iranian dissidents in 2009.  Then, two years later, he belatedly offered encouragement to the revolutionaries who overthrew Egyptian strongman Hosni Mubarak.

Yet those snubbed in Iran were far more likely to oppose radical Islam than the protestors who later put the Muslim Brotherhood in power in Cairo.

Following the murders of Ambassador Chris Stevens and a number of Americans, the liberal media raced to the presses to inform us all that Mitt Romney had spoken out about the attacks — and Obama’s mishandling thereof — inappropriately.

The violence abroad — in concert with rapidly declining American prestige —clearly demonstrates that Obama has no more skill in the foreign arena than he has on the domestic front.

Yet the desperate distractions continue, and will until November.  Even as the liberal  media stagger from deserved criticism for their deliberate attempts to recast the Libyan atrocities (aided, as they were, by Obama policies that left Stevens and his fellow victims virtually defenseless), they have spun back for their masters in the Obama Administration.

As the week began, a six month old recording of Romney surfaced through the far left slums of the media.  Leaked by the grandson of the previous worst President and eternal national embarrassment Jimmy Carter, the tape supposedly reveals Romney writing off campaigning for the votes of 47 percent of the populace — a group he refers to as “dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it.”

Although Romney’s remarks are entirely accurate, the Democrats and the media — who saw nothing worth criticizing in Obama infamous God and guns smear — have deployed condemnation of Romney’s statement as yet another deflection from the chaos that has consumed the Mideast.

Romney thinks too many Americans have sold their souls to the empty promises of unquantifiable “hope and change.”  Romney knows that striving for the votes of people who are still backing Obama amid the veritable misery he has inflicted on not only our Nation but members of his own Administration is a waste of resources.

Even now, Obama and Romney are racing neck and neck for the White House.  Neither seems to be able to claw his way past the 50 percent mark.  It would appear that somewhere between 5 and 10 percent of the actual electorate remains undecided.

Romney can either devote resources targeting the 47 percent who are sticking with Obama through record unemployment, record national debt, Operation Fast and Furious, “quantitative easing” and the train wreck of a foreign policy Obama has conducted; or he can acknowledge the 47-percenters exist, target instead those who are receptive to his campaigning and play to win.

In a recent Obama presser, not one reporter asked about Stevens and his fellow martyrs. No one queried about Obama’s decision to leave them exposed.  No one even asked about the rising anti-American violence in the Mideast.  One reporter did ask whether Obama was privy to updates from Afghanistan (which is taking a similar turn for the worse); and another asked about the President’s golf game.

No one even approached the as yet barely reported story that Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius brazenly violated the Hatch Act.  That would normally result in termination, but apparently earns the violator applause in an Administration so bereft of respect for the law that the Attorney General has been found in both criminal and civil contempt of Congress — another disgrace that should have earned the violator a stretch in the pokey. The corporate media even got caught coordinating their questions for Romney.

However, while the Democrats try to keep us focused on what Romney’s saying, I can’t help but notice what Obama and his media minions aren’t saying.

Do you remember the Crusades?

Me neither, but I got your attention.

People talk about the Crusades as being bloody but there were only a few hundred thousand Muslims and Christians died.

On the other hand Hitler, Stalin and Mau, who were atheists, killed one hundred million people.  The murderers were fascists and communists who said, “You didn’t build that.” They were government-holy.  The government built those deaths.   Big government regulates the spirit and puts on the mask of the Grim Reaper.   Sound familiar?

As our country’s finances slide and we are downgraded by S&P and Moody’s, as the Middle East drifts into chaotic civil war, we must say that it was not “somebody else” but you, Obama, who made that happen.

O must GO

The evidence indicates that Obama was informed that Muslim radicals were ready to strike American embassies, yet literally did nothing to warn them or bolster security?
If this is true, and I believe it is, then Obama MUST go now.   The Democrats need to find someone else to put on the ballot.  If the US had credible knowledge of an impending Libyan embassy attack and took no defensive measures—this government must not stand.

If Obama knew of the threat, and was indifferent, he is therefore morally unfit to lead, and perhaps suffering from a grave mental or character defect. Or, Barack did not know, and therefore cannot possibly be actually in command of his position, and therefore—is likewise unfit to lead.

There can be no other interpretation of events. The world is suddenly so dangerous, we Americans must return to our senses to save ourselves and the rest of the free world. It is time to end this diseased experiment in political correctness, and progressive fantasies.

The Supreme Court and ObamaCare

Right after the Supreme decision on ObamaCare was made public, I posted this blog.  http://cyberpolyticks.blogspot.com/2012/07/dumb-like-fox.html

The penalties Americans will be required to pay under Obamacare for going without health insurance were declared constitutional in a U.S. Supreme Court decision that hinged on Chief Justice John Roberts’ assertion that the assessments are taxes.

However, there is a fly in the ointment and I believe ole “dumb like a fox Roberts” did this intentionally.   The Constitution requires all tax bills to begin in the House.  The ObamaCare bill began in the Senate.  In fact the House never did approve it.

Because the mandate penalties are a 'tax', for this law to be legal, it must begin all over from scratch, in the House.

OBAMA BUILT THAT

Middle East Mayhem: Congrats Obama,You Built That

By Doug Giles   9/16/2012

Remember back in the beginning of 2011 when Obama told us about the freedom lovers in Egypt and Libya living under the oppression of dictators and needing our immediate help to establish democracy in their fair lands?

You do? So do I. How weird. We should become best friends. Facebook me.

Anyway … it turns out that the “freedom lovers” Obama coerced lots of Americans to rally behind (and whom he also pimped out with billions of sawbucks from America’s pitiful piggy bank) were bat crap crazy.

I’m talking crazy on steroids crazy—and not just peaceful crazy like Joe Biden but rather hide-sharp-objects-from-them, menopausal wolverine sow crazy.

Yep, these “yearners for democracy” turned out to be radicals of radicals who’d like nothing more than to eradicate the U.S. and Israel and establish a global bounce house for all things Muslim.
Whoopsie, eh Mr. President? You kind of misjudged that one, señor.

At least I hope Obama misjudged their end game because if he had even an inkling that they would quickly blossom into full-blown anti-America/Israel hate machines then that would make some folks think that our president … um … uh … doesn’t have our … how shall I say … our best interests or our allies’ best interests at heart.

I’ve gotta admit that at the beginning of the Arab Spring I thought these freedom lovers seemed a bubble off level. I mean … I didn’t want to judge, but I wasn’t getting that Jeffersonian vibe from the video feeds coming across the wire; it was stuff like burning the American flag, raping one of our female correspondents, looting their pyramids and decapitating multitudinous mummies that caused me some consternation.

But that’s just me, and who am I? I could be wrong. Or a racist. Or both. Maybe the Arab Spring—like Obama’s economic policies—just needs a little more time to pan out. That’s probably it.
However, the events of this past week in Cairo and Benghazi on September 11th kind of make me feel like this “Spring” is stuck on stupid, and now, thanks to Obama’s backing, we have one violent, jacked-up mess on our hands—one that won’t be remedied easily … and one to which we can point to the president as someone who built that.

WE WERE WARNED

Three days before the deadly assault on the United States consulate in Libya, a local security official says he met with American diplomats in the city and warned them about deteriorating security.

From Breitbart News:
In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News, Fox News military analyst Colonel David Hunt laid the blame for the murder of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans at the Benghazi, Libya American mission on Hillary Clinton and the State Department:
"The State Department just allowed our guys to get killed. If you approve no bullets in guns for the mission security guards and an outhouse for a mission, you’re inviting it."
Earlier, on Howie Carr's radio show Thursday, Colonel Hunt said that the American mission at Benghazi "was like a cardboard building, there wasn't even bullet proof glass." In addition, Hunt said the security guards inside the mission didn't have bullets:
Howie Carr: They weren't allowed to have bullets, is that correct?
Colonel Hunt: That's true. They were private security. The rules of engagement were ridiculous.
The report continues:
According to Hunt, the debacle at the American mission in Benghazi is directly the result of Obama's new policies. "The policy of the Obama administration led to this," he said.
"It was the policy of the Obama administration to have a low profile in Libya. That's why the rules of engagement were approved by the Secretary of State to have no Marines at Benghazi, and to have an American contractor hire Libyan nationals to provide security there. The rules were they couldn't have ammunition."
"Obama may not have known the details of the State Department Rules of Engagement for Libya, but his Chief of Staff and National Security Advisor would have. The Secretary of State absolutely would have."
