I feel like preaching, so here’s today's sermon.

Every politician running for office has one main point, or promise, which he or she runs on. 

President Trump was no different.  His most important campaign point, in my view, was to “drain the swamp”.  He has made some major progress toward that goal, but is still far from complete.  

Ask yourself this; if he is impeached and actually removed from office, who will run this country.  The answer is obvious; THE SWAMP WILL…

Democrats have tried to impeach every elected Republican president since Dwight D. Eisenhower.  So far, they have never succeeded (although Nixon did resign to avoid impeachment) and I hope and pray they don't succeed not this time.  

This is the first time America has had so much at stake on the success of the President, since the Cuban missile crises.  We must all do everything within our power to keep this President in office, and that means not only preventing  this impeachment, but also re-electing him in 2020.  It is also imperative that we elect a Republican controlled House AND Senate to assist in the accomplishment of his stated goals.

We the American citizens have been ruled, unknowingly for the most part, by a bunch of unelected career bureaucrats, which President Trump has appropriately named “the swamp”.  Also referred to as “the deep state”.

The time has come for we the people to take this unbridled power away from these unelected career bureaucrats, and put it back in the hands of the electorate as the founders of this great nation intended.

Like all Communists, today’s Democrats cannot be trusted.

Democrats are really pissed because President Trump didn’t tell them in advance about the impending U.S. raid to get al-Baghdadi. 

His response was: “I wanted to make sure this was kept secret. I don’t want to have people lost.   We were going to notify them last night, but we decided not to do that because Washington leaks like nothing I’ve ever seen before.   A leak could have cost the death of all of them.”

He did the right thing in not telling them.  They only way he will be able to accomplish anything is to do it first, then tell them.  Unfortunately, some things have to get their approval.  They will do anything they can to sabotage everything he tries to accomplish, no matter what the consequences to our country, our military, and all Americans may be.

One reason they are so upset about not being notified is because he DID notify the Russians that we were coming.  However, that was necessary because they control the airspace over the compound we were targeting. And Trump thanked the Russians for their cooperation.  Another reason is the fact that he also didn’t even notify the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Adam Schiff, which is almost always given a heads-up about major military operations. 

President Trump trusted Comey, and was betrayed big time. He has learned his lesson.

How much longer will Democracy, Capitalism, and Freedom survive?

I sometimes wonder if life as we have always known it in America is just a passing phase.  Many forms of government and/or rulers have come and gone over the thousands of years of recorded human history.

The founders of American government with much foresight founded a government which has survived many tests, but not without some close calls.  The first of course being the revolutionary war, then the Civil war, then WW1, and WW2, and although most people don’t realize it, the Cuban Missile was also a very close call.

There is one line from The Gettysburg address which has stuck in my head since childhood.  That line is “Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure”. 

Well we are once again engaged in a great civil war.  This time it’s not a shooting war, at least not yet.  That’s not to say there hasn’t been violence, because there certainly has.  However, so far, this civil war has for the most part been a political and vocal war between the Constitutionalist Republicans and the far-left Socialist Democratic party. 

 

Make no mistake, we as a country, are in just as much in danger of losing our freedom and democracy now we were when Lincoln made that Gettysburg address.  You and I must fight this battle, not on the battle field, but at the ballet box.  I beseech you to PLEASE vote straight Republican in the general election, and in the Primary vote for the most conservative republican.  The one who has been the most supportive of President Trump.

Why do I say this?  I will again use Abe Lincoln’s words; “that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom—and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.”  Just in case you don’t know, Socialism is NOT a government of the people, by the people, for the people…
