If You Like Your Internet, too Bad; you can’t keep your internet.

Well, it is a done deal; the federal now owns the internet lock, stock and barrel just like in China, Cuba, etc, etc.

Here is the “Government version” of this power grab: 
Internet service providers like Comcast, Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile now must act in the "public interest" when providing a mobile connection to your home or phone, under rules approved Thursday by a divided Federal Communications Commission.
The plan, which puts the Internet in the same regulatory camp as the telephone and bans business practices that are "unjust or unreasonable," represents the biggest regulatory shakeup to the industry in almost two decades. The goal is to prevent providers from slowing or blocking web traffic, or creating paid fast lanes on the Internet, said FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler.

I know, and I believe most conservatives know that this is all a bunch of BS. (And BS does NOT stand for better service)
The bottom line is, if the government regulates it, they can, and will, tax it.  And, there will no longer be any competition between the various service providers for your business. 

This will be a disaster for the internet just as ObamaCare is a disaster for our health care.  Obama is the first President in history to reduce the benefits of Medicare, but he won’t be the last.  Medicare benefits will continue to decrease while the price we pay for it will continue to increase.  I mention this only to illustrate what we can expect to happen to the internet in the months and years to come.
