In the early morning hours of August 2nd 1990, Iraqi Armed
Forces, without provocation or warning, invaded a peaceful Kuwait. Facing negligible resistance from its much
smaller neighbor, Iraq's tanks stormed in blitzkrieg fashion through Kuwait in
a few short hours. With more than
100,000 troops, along with tanks, artillery, and surface-to-surface missiles,
Iraq conquered and occupied Kuwait.
This aggression came just hours after Saddam Hussein specifically assured
numerous countries in the area that there would be no invasion. There was no justification whatsoever for this
outrageous and brutal act of aggression.President George H. W. Bush took the appropriate action to halt this
aggression by Saddam Hussein. It is now
my belief that the United States has not done anything right militarily since.

I always check things from more than one source before posting,

are all on welfare and food stamps, (or they need an abortion) and they stand
to gain a substantial increase in benefits and services once the rest of us
start paying those higher taxes.(I.e. Carbon tax). If people only knew how
many trillionaires have their grubby hands in that pot waiting for new
industries, corporations, etc., etc. after they pass all the regulations i.e.
penalties & taxes on the American people so they can make many more
trillions. Everything in our lives will
be disrupted, changed and more expensive so that the politically connected can
make more off the taxpayers just working and sacrificing to stay above the
curve. Al Gore has had his
greedy hand in on the farce for decades and he is not alone. Someone needs to out all the people who have
donated millions to politicians to get this passed. Can you imagine the political favors owed to
these trillionaires and they expect to be paid? It amazes me how gullible the American people
are. Somehow, they want to be
politically correct and go along with the lies when there is absolutely no
proof of global warming or cooling, depending on nature. This world is not going to be destroyed by
so-called climate change. It is going to
be changed by Almighty God who has always used 'natural disasters' to get the
attention of His people.
The Climate

Here is the REAL science:Atmospheric heating is controlled by a
physical equilibrium system for the two molecules that absorb infrared energy,
IR, from sunlight. Only one each of the principle and trace gases in air
capture heat from sunlight. Principle gas water vapor, and trace gas CO2
are the only two catching IR energy. All the rest are transparent to it and
gain no heat from sunlight.
The problem for the “Global
Warming, Climate Change” people is that CO2 is a poor absorber of IR energy
compared to water vapor, by one to seven, and where the atmosphere is an
equilibrium system for water vapor and water, the addition of CO2 drives out
water vapor, precipitating it to liquid where it cannot warm air. World
War II proved this as we generated more CO2 than at any time in the history of
man and temperatures declined.
In spite of these facts, President
Obama pledged in March to cut U.S. CO2 emissions by 28 percent below 2005
levels by 2025. Where it is certain any Republican President will rescind
that order the day he is inaugurated, Mr. Obama intends to be there as our
“Eternal President” to “Save the world!” That will be his justification
for trashing the Constitution.
ONE MORE POINT...
About eight acres of new land
has been created since the Kamokuna ocean entry — the first since August 2013 —
started three weeks ago, according to the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory. That
adds to the 444 acres of new land remaining from lava flows entering the ocean
in the area since 1986.
No one, except ME, ever
mentions how this, along with erosion, contributes to to rising ocean levels.Everyone else blames it on global warming…
UPDATE: - From The Daily Caller: A document published by DC Leaks shows Soros,
a Hungarian-born liberal financier, wanted his nonprofit Open Society Institute
(OSI) to do more to support global warming policies in the U.S. That included budgeting $10 million in annual support
to Gore’s climate group over three years.
“U.S. Programs Global Warming Grants U.S.
Programs became engaged on the global warming issue about four years ago, at
George Soros’s suggestion,” reads a leaked OSI memo.
“There has been a budget of $11 million for
global warming grants in the U.S. Programs budget for the last several years,”
the memo reads. “This budget item captures George Soros’s commitment of $10
million per year for three years to Al Gore’s Alliance for Climate Protection,
which conducts public education on the climate issue in pursuit of creating
political space for aggressive U.S. action in line with what scientists say is
necessary to put our nation on a path to reducing its outsize carbon dioxide
emissions.”
It’s unclear what year the memo was sent, but
the Gore co-founded Alliance for Climate Protection (ACP) was established in 2006
and lasted until it became The Climate Reality Project in July 2011. In 2008,
the Alliance launched a $300 million campaign to encourage
“Americans to push for aggressive reductions in greenhouse gas emissions,” The
Washington Post reported.
ACP got $10 million from the Open Society
Institute (OSI) in 2008, according to the nonprofit’s tax filings. OSI handed
over another $5 million to ACP in 2009, according to tax filings. The
investigative reporting group ProPublica keeps a database that has OSI tax
returns from 2000 to 2013. TheDCNF could not find other years where OSI gave
money to ACP.
OSI is primarily a grant-making nonprofit
that hands out millions of dollars every year to mostly left-wing causes. Now
called the Open Society Foundations, Soros’s nonprofit has handed out more than
$13 billion over the last three decades.
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker
(R) says Hillary Clinton's response to the
unrest occurring in Milwaukee is only making the situation worse.
"I think comments like
that are just inflaming the situation," Walker told "Fox and Friends" Tuesday morning.
"I think people
understand in that neighborhood and in ShermanPark and in Milwaukee, they want law enforcement to step up and protect
them," he added.
"The people who live in
the neighborhood want police — they want the police in Milwaukee and the sheriff's department to step up and protect
them. They didn't want the criminals who were doing those actions against those
businesses to do that. And I think statements like that and the lack of
leadership we have had from the president on this issue only inflame the
situation."
Clinton on Monday spoke at a campaign event about the riots
occurring in Milwaukee after an officer fatally shot a 23-year-old
man who officials said was armed.
"Look at what's
happening in Milwaukee right now; we've got urgent work to do to rebuild
trust between police and communities," Clinton said Monday.
"And get back to the
fundamental principle: Everyone should have respect for the law and be
respected by the law."
The Wisconsin National Guard
was activated Sunday and several arrests have been made in the unrest since the
Saturday shooting.
According to Milwaukee police, four officers were injured Sunday night and
14 arrests were made. The police department also posted images on Twitter of a
squad car damaged by thrown bricks, rocks and glass bottles and posted about
reports of shots fired.
Milwaukee Alderman Khalif
Rainey responded
to the weekend’s violence by tacitly threatening more riots if “oppression,”
“unemployment” and “injustice” wasn’t addressed. Rainey failed to explain what
this had to do with an armed man with a lengthy criminal record aiming a gun at
police officers.
White
People brave enough to venture
through Milwaukee on Saturday night were directly targeted for racial
attacks, with rioters yelling, “they white, get their ass!,” as they attempting
to drag white drivers out of their vehicles.
Don’t expect a DOJ
investigation or a national media “hate crime” outcry any time soon.
According to the Associated
Press, A Chicago-based communist
revolutionary group blamed by Milwaukee's police chief for stoking
a second day of violence said that some of its members did go there to
"support a revolution" but didn't set out to cause trouble.
Actor Will
Smith just gave everyone yet another reason not to watch any of his movies. While in

Despite promises of European
Union member states to take in 160,000 refugees, a new report shows that
they've accepted ONLY 6,000, while the United States has embraced 8,000 of a planned 10,000 this
year. As President Obama, backed by Democratic
presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, has ramped up accepting refugees fleeing Syria and other war-torn nations, the EU has put the brakes
on hard, apparently bowing to public outrage.
In the U.S., some governors and other politicians have warned
against moving fast to bring in the refugees, concerned that poor vetting could
let in terrorists.
Jack Lucas, who at 14 lied his way into the military to
serve in World War II and became the youngest marine ever to receive the Medal
of Honor, died in 2008 in Hattiesburg, Miss., where he made his home. He was
80.
Mr. Lucas had been
hospitalized with leukemia and died after asking doctors to remove a dialysis
machine, said his wife, Ruby.
Jacklyn Lucas, known as
Jack, was just six days past his 17th birthday when, in February 1945, his
heroism at Iwo Jima earned him the medal. He used his body to shield three
members of his squad from two grenades and was nearly killed when one exploded.
“A couple of grenades
rolled into the trench,” Mr. Lucas said in an interview with The Associated
Press shortly before he received the medal from President Harry S. Truman in
October 1945. “I hollered to my pals to get out and did a Superman dive at the grenades.”
But “I wasn’t a Superman after I got hit,” he added, recalling the scream
he let out “when that thing went off.”
Mr. Lucas was left with more than 250 pieces of shrapnel
in his body and had 26 operations in the following months. He was discharged as
a private first class.
The youngest member of the military to receive the Medal of Honor in any
conflict other than the Civil War, he became a symbol of patriotism in the
ensuing decades, meeting presidents and traveling the world to speak with
frontline troops and fellow veterans.

Mr. Lucas, born in Plymouth, N.C., on Feb. 14, 1928, was a 13-year-old
cadet captain in a military academy when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor.
Big for his age and eager to serve, he forged his mother’s signature on an
enlistment waiver that would have allowed him to join the Marines at 17 rather
than the usual 18. But in fact he was by then only 14, though the military did
not learn of that until censors discovered it through a letter he had written
to his 15-year-old girlfriend.
“They had him driving a truck in Hawaii because his age was discovered, and
they threatened to send him home,” said D. K. Drum, who wrote Mr. Lucas’s story
with him in the 2006 book “Indestructible.”
Mr. Lucas eventually stowed away aboard a Navy ship headed for combat in
the Pacific. He turned himself in aboard ship to avoid being listed as a
deserter, and volunteered to fight.
The officers aboard “did not know his age,” Ms. Drum said. “He didn’t give
it up, and they didn’t ask.”
After the war, Mr. Lucas earned a business degree from High Point
University in North Carolina and raised, processed and sold beef in the
Washington area. In the 1960s, he rejoined the military, becoming an Army
paratrooper to conquer his fear of heights, Ms. Drum said.
On a training jump, both of his parachutes failed, she said, and Mr. Lucas
later said his stocky build and a last-second roll as he hit the ground had
saved his life.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Lucas is survived by four
sons, a daughter, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
