Is Obama really concerned about the environment?
He will not approve the Keystone Pipeline. He says because of the environment.
He is shutting down all the coal fired power plants. In fact, he is shutting all industry that uses coal. He says because of the environment.
He is opposed to “fracking”. He says because of the environment.
But there may be another reason why Obama is opposing these things. It will hurt Islamic oil interests. If the United States becomes energy independent, the Muslim world will lose its stream of income, and Islam will lose its ability to expand.
At least one Arab in the know realizes what is possible in the United States if government gets out of the way and lets the free market take over:

“Billionaire Prince Alwaleed bin Talal said the Gulf Arab kingdom needed to reduce its reliance on crude oil and diversify its revenues.
“His warning comes as rising shale energy supplies (from fracking) in the United States cut global demand for Saudi oil.
“In an open letter to his country's oil minister Ali al Naimi and other government heads, published on Sunday via his Twitter account, Prince Alwaleed said demand for oil from Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) member states was ‘in continuous decline.’”
Is Obama trying to keep Muslim oil interests intact by putting up roadblocks for domestic oil drilling and cooperation with Canada?
