The first Rasmussen Reports Trump Change national telephone survey of the new year finds that 74% of Likely Republican Voters think the billionaire businessman is likely to be their nominee in 2016, with 31% who say it is Very Likely.   Just 23% disagree, and that includes only 11% who say it is Not At All Likely.  (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Among all likely voters, 61% now say Trump is likely to be the official Republican presidential candidate, with 24% who think it is Very Likely.

Overall belief among GOP voters that Trump will be the eventual nominee hit a high of 74% in late October after running in the 50s for most weeks since Rasmussen Reports began the weekly Trump Change feature in mid-August.   Following the terrorist attacks in Paris in November, this belief climbed into the 60s.

The good news is; there are quite a few stupid, lame brain, left wing commie extremist celebrities, who have promised they would leave the country if Trump becomes President.  If I thought they would actually keep that promise, that alone would be enough reason to vote for Trump…

The bad news is; Trump remains tied with Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton in a hypothetical 2016 matchup.

  1. Hillary has no credentials that show she would be a good president. For one she is a proven liar, two, she can't be trusted, we don't need the Clinton's back in the White House. Bill was a mess, proven to be untrustworthy, and Hillary has a problem with keeping email that concern the security of the United States on an insecure internet provider. And then there was Benghazi, she couldn't tell the truth to save her soul, and because of that we lost 4 good Americans.

    1. I agree; Hillary would be almost as bad as four more years of Obama.
But Berney Sanders wouldn't be any better.
I plan on voting for Ted Cruz in the Primary Election, however if Trump does win the primary, he will have my vote and my support in the general election.
