Climate Forecast: Does anybody even care anymore?
Even while it exaggerates the amount of warming, the IPCC is becoming more cautious about its effects.
Governments make sure there are all kinds of incentives for
scientists to “sound the alarm” on whatever the latest “big thing” is, be it
global warming, global cooling, gun control, or whatever. And, there always has been and always will be
plenty of ideologues (Al Gore, Barack Obama, Harry Reid, etc.) who see
opportunities for increased power, and plenty of suckers to rush in and support
the cause.
