All young people in America, who believe you
are oppressed for whatever reason, please consider that the United States, with
its free enterprise, (for-profit) system produces more food, clothing, shelter,
and a higher standard of living for more people than any other system,
anywhere, anytime on earth.
Also consider in our
country, people who are considered to be “poor” suffer the problems of obesity
far more than of hunger. I should also mention that almost all of them have cell
phones, air conditioning, and cable TV.
Perhaps your reply is “material
things and prosperity isn’t what really matters. Perhaps you’re more concerned about social
justice. Yes, America has had slavery, Jim Crow, and discrimination in its
history. But consider that America and England led the global fight against
slavery. Also consider that this nation fought a Civil War, adopted three
Constitutional Amendments, passed the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Voting
Rights Act of 1965, and established Equal Opportunity Offices in state and
federal governments across the land, all to spot and prosecute unlawful
discrimination.
Also consider that a woman, a minority, or a dissenter from the dominant culture, here in the United States, more than anywhere else on earth, you have more chance to pick the life you want. I hope you’ll accomplish what you want. Solve those problems; right those wrongs. But the odds of you accomplishing that would be much better if you spent more time improving your education, and less time protesting.

Also consider that maybe
your nation, the society your parents, grandparents, and great great
grandparents gave you, deserves not your condemnation but your gratitude. Maybe
you can try to make things better here while appreciating what you’ve been
given, but burning, looting and rioting will do your nation much more harm than
good.
I find it very alarming
that the Democratic Party and so many of America’s young people today believe
that Socialism and/or Communism are the way of the future. During the
Cold War, all conservatives (of both parties) fought communism, but the left
fought anti-communism. The left opposed American military buildups and regarded
the Cold War between America and the Soviet Union as no win situation with the
two parties fighting to the death. They loathed Presidents Nixon and Reagan, but
not Communism, which was second only to Nazism, for being the greatest evil in
the modern world. It is a fact that
Communism has killed and enslaved far more people than Nazism)
Today, I believe the greatest evil in the
world, and America’s greatest threat is totalitarian Islam, or Islamism. The
left is doing precisely what it did during the war against communism: It's
fighting the anti-Islamists, not the Islamists. Just as it labeled
anti-communists "cold warriors" and other derisive epithets, the left
labels those fighting Islamism as "Islamophobes" and, of course,
"racists." In the moral order as perceived by the left, it is the
anti-Islamists who are the enemy of the good.
In this battle, the left
fights American conservatives -- and Israel, the country in the front line
against Islamism. In a nutshell, rather than fighting evil, the left fights
those who fight evil.
When I see America’s
young people rioting and openly identifying as Communists or Socialists or
Nazis, Islamists, I am deeply concerned about the future of our country. My message to America’s youth is “if you think
you are oppressed under Capitalism, you ain’t seen nothing yet”…
God bless America, and
God bless President Trump
