BOTTOM LINE ON SAME SEX MARRIAGE

It seems to me all this same sex marriage controversy is a case of the government attempting to solve a problem which government created in the first place.
Government never had the right to give special privileges to married couples in the first place.  That in itself was unconstitutional.

And, if they had not done so, we wouldn't be having this debate to begin with.  Marriage is, and always has been, a religious bond between a man and a woman, in the eyes of God, not the eyes of government.  I guess that’s nothing new.  Most problems government attempt to solve are problems they created.

The important news you may not be hearing is that the U.S. Supreme Court did not redefine marriage across the nation. That means the debate about marriage will continue. States are free to uphold policies recognizing that marriage is the union of a man and a woman, so that children have a mother and a father.

Bottom line: The more government gets involved, the more screwed up things become.
