IT'S TIME TO IMPEACH

The biggest problem I have with Obama is his habit of ruling by executive order when he can’t convince Congress to do things his way.
He has gotten away with so much that he is now bragging about it.   Just recently he said, “I’ve got a pen and I’ve got a phone - and I can use that pen to sign executive orders and take executive actions.”

It should be obvious to anyone wit half a brain that he doesn’t give one damn about the separation of powers, the constitution, or the rule of law.   He believes he is now in a position where he can do whatever he wants to do, and he’s right, he can unless Congress does their job and put a stop to it.

It is my understanding that the executive order was intended to give the President the power to enforce existing laws.   Congress is supposed to make the laws, and/or modify existing laws, the President then has the power to either sign them into law or veto them.  For years Presidents have used (and sometimes abused) the power of the executive order, but never in history has any president abused that power to this extent.

Obama no longer even pretends to care about the separation of powers between the executive branch and Congress, because he now knows Congress does not have the gonads to stop him.   Congress is allowing him to be dictator rather than President.

Here are just a few of his illegal executive orders:
  • Delaying the employer mandate in Obamacare
  • Changing the types of plans available under Obamacare
  • Ensuring abortions would be covered under Obamacare
  • Enacting key provisions of the failed Dream Act to halt deportations of illegal immigrants
  • Enacting stricter gun-control measures
  • Sealing presidential records
  • Creating an economic council
  • Creating a domestic policy council

Our Founding Fathers gave us a gift, gained through bloodshed and hardship, of individual freedom and a government dedicated to protecting our rights.

Is there any doubt in anyone’s mind that if Obama, or any President, had demonstrated such contempt for the Constitution in earlier times that our ancestors would have had him impeached, removed from office, and imprisoned by now?
The plans and goals of the Left to dumb down and sissify America have succeeded. There no longer is a core set of American values, beliefs or even knowledge.

Since the existing Speaker of the House John Boehner is unwilling to begin impeachment proceedings, we all need contact him and let our voices be heard.  Here is a web site with instructions how to contact him; http://boehner.house.gov/contact/

If that fails to get prompt results, then everyone should contact their own Representatives and request that they replace Boehner with someone who actually has a backbone.

HERE IS AN UPDATE

John Boehner declared war against the Tea Party.

Publicly and privately, Speaker of the House, John Boehner is waging war on the Tea Party, conservative Republicans, and our values.

Speaker Boehner is solely responsible for:

  • Continuing the funding of Obamacare and defeating Ted Cruz's efforts to defeat Obama's signature legislation;
  • Doing Barack Obama's bidding by raising taxes;
  • Cutting earned pensions for veterans and disabled vets, while protecting his own bloated pension;
  • Further bankrupting America by raising the debt ceiling without any meaningful concessions;
  • Single handedly passing signature legislation to massively increase the size, scope, and power of government;
  • Agreeing to pass Amnesty for those illegal immigrants who have broken our laws; and
  • Kicking courageous Tea Party congressman off of important, key House committees to remove conservative objections to his liberal policies.

Instead of partnering with Ted Cruz and Rand Paul to reform our government and put America back on the path to renewed greatness -- Speaker Boehner has chosen to curry favor with President Obama by cutting deals with Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid and sidling up to the liberal media -- all while stabbing Tea Party conservatives in the back.

It's time for John Boehner to go.
