The people have organized in the streets.
They have gathered en masse to push back against a tyrannical government and to restore the civil rights of the citizenry.  

When the government begins to open fire on protesters, the people are left with a choice: do they retreat, or do they fight? 

No, this isn’t happening in the United States.  This is happening in the Ukraine.    (But if things continue on the current trend, it may soon be happening in the U.S.) You see, in this large former Soviet Republic, there is a battle brewing over the country’s culture and direction.  Roughly half of the country wants to continue to ally itself with Moscow, while the other half has turned to the West and the European Union.  

The growing street protests have led the Ukrainian government to suspend some civil rights, which has only intensified the standoff between the westward-leaning protesters and Russia’s allies in government.  You won’t see it in the news all that much, but Ukraine is on the brink of war.

Because of the violent protests, the Ukraine Prime Minister has resigned, and the President may be forced to do the same.

What does this have to do with what is going on in the United States?

Everything!

The social scientists say that the United States is more politically polarized today than the country was during the civil war.  Just last week the Governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo, said that if you are pro-life, pro-second amendment, and pro-family values, you're a Conservative extremist who has "no place in the State of New York."

Did you get that?   Let me rephrase it; The Governor of New York State said if you do not agree with HIS POLITICS, you need to leave the state.  This Idiot is polling right behind Hillary Clinton as a potential Presidential candidate.   That should tell you something about today’s Democratic Party.

The lines have already been drawn and I regret to inform you that conservatives apparently have no place in the Democrats' America.  And if we do not push back against this bigotry and hatred, the Democrats will not stop until our conservative principles are taboo across the Country!

In the last five years, we have seen Barack Hussein Obama and the Democrats belittle the Conservative movement at every possible opportunity.

Do you believe in the right to self-defense?  Do you believe that an armed citizenry is the last defense against tyranny?  Well, according to the Democrats, you're just a savage killer.

Do you believe that individuals should be allowed to make their own healthcare decisions?  Well, the Democrats have painted you as someone who wants sick people to die!

Want to reform Medicare and Social Security before it bankrupts the country? The Democrats have actually aired commercials showing Conservatives pushing the elderly off a cliff!

Do you believe that every life is a precious commodity?   Democrats have convinced their base that you hate women!

Do you believe that Barack Obama is the worst President in history? Then, you're obviously a racist!


Think about what we have endured over the past year.  Yes, we have been vilified... yes, they called us horrible names.  But beyond the name calling, Barack Obama's administration has waged an all-out war on our rights!

Obama has attacked Conservative groups, using the IRS to hamper Conservatives' right to free speech.

He has done everything in his power to disarm you and stop you from defending your family and defending your country.

He has implemented domestic spying programs that ILLEGALLY target American citizens and violate their privacy without cause!

He has used his military power to kill and torture American citizens abroad without even charging them with a crime!

If you don't buy into Obama's health law, his excessive fines will absolutely cripple you!   And unless you're one of the President's cronies, there is no relief in sight!

And when you try to preserve Conservatism at the State level, the Federal government comes in and violates your rights again!

For those keeping score at home, these are violations your 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th amendment rights.  Have I got your attention yet?

When are the American people going to wake up?  This President has literally violated almost every single part of the Bill of Rights (short of quartering troops in our homes).  How far do the Democrats and this tyrannical president need to go before you start getting angry?  How much longer until the American people rise up?

What is going on in the Ukraine should be a stark reminder of what can happen when a government repeatedly infringes on the rights of the People.  But it also is a reminder that despots will do whatever is necessary to cling to power!

Those in power have forgotten the pact they made with the American people… They have forgotten who serves who!  They must be reminded that whenever any form of government becomes destructive of the rights of the people, “it is the RIGHT of the People to alter or abolish it!”

I hope to God that we are not approaching a violent civil war.  But with the trajectory we are on, I fear it is only a matter of time unless Congress can get this abusive and tyrannical administration under control.

Perhaps Americans could learn a lesson from the citizens of Ukraine.
