Obama Writes New Rules to Regulate Gun Owners

Obama Writes New Rules to Throw Gun Owners in JAIL for Doing This on the Internet

President Barack Obama’s crony State Department just proposed new firearms rules that would make it illegal for gun owners — or really anybody — to discuss the technical specifications of guns and ammo on the Internet without first obtaining federal permission.

Before they could publish gun and/or ammo specifications on a blog, video or Web forum, “gunsmiths, manufacturers, reloaders and do-it-yourselfers” would have to go through “the cumbersome and time-consuming process of obtaining” the proper authorizations, reported the National Rifle Association (NRA).

Furthermore, those individuals caught publishing firearms specifications without first getting federal authorization would face a fine of up to $1 million, as well as a potential jail sentence of up to 20 years.

“This latest regulatory assault, published in the June 3 issue of the Federal Register, is as much an affront to the First Amendment as it is to the Second,” the NRA warned in a blog post.

The NRA further argued that this proposed regulation is nothing more than a “gag order on firearm-related speech.”

Obama’s crony government is threatening to infringe on both our First Amendment and Second Amendment rights — and that’s both very wrong and very unconstitutional.

Why is Obama’s government doing this?
The answer is because “we the people are allowing him to get away with it.

When was the last time you called, faxed, or emailed your Congressman or Senators?  Remember; Your silence IS your consent.

Please share this post on Facebook and by email to get the word out that President Barack Hussein Obama is now trying to infringe on both our First Amendment and Second Amendment rights.
