Feinstein's legal staff held meetings last week with FTB/ATF legal staff to
discuss a new "Assault Weapons Ban" Madame Feinstein would be looking to push
through Congress if President Obama wins reelection.
Word has it that it would ban pistol grips (on everything other than pistols) and "high-capacity" magazines (all magazines that hold move than 10 rounds). It would also eliminate any grandfathering and ban sales of "weapons in possession". In other words, it doesn’t necessarily have to actually BE an assault weapon to be banned; it only has to LOOK like one.

TRUE ASSAULT WEAPON is of course FULLY
AUTOMATIC which is already illegal. This
isn’t good enough for Democrats; They want to ban all
SEMI-AUTOMATICS that in any way resemble an
actual assault weapon.
