Why are there so many tornadoes in Oklahoma some years, and so few in other years?
Well, back in 1975, they blamed the high number on “global cooling”.
James Hansen, an up-and-coming climate scientist with NASA in 1971, laid the groundwork with his computer model that showed that a new ice age was coming. Really! Click here. Today, he is the most famous of the global warmers.

This year, Oklahoma
is having the
coolest spring on record. (see chart below)
The number of tornadoes is up. Last year, it had the warmest
spring. The number of tornadoes was low.
And, as for the fact that there has been no change in atmospheric temperatures since 1998, this proves nothing, we are assured, absolutely nothing.
