Rioting mobs in Ferguson, Missouri, are influencing decisions more than the facts of the case are, which may end the career of an innocent police officer, who encountered a 6' 4" 290 pound young man who was on a marijuana high, who minutes before had assaulted and robbed a convenience store worker.
The governor of Missouri, a Democrat, made a video statement apparently pushing for - "vigorous prosecution" of the police officer, even though the facts are not yet known, and we don’t even know yet it the grand jury will indict. This governor is just like race baiters like Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson who make their living by fanning the flames of racial unrest and shaking down opponents. People need to quit listening to those people and listen to people like the one in this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5f0mVn0HH6U#t=57
Everyone is calling what happened to this young man a tragedy. This was not a tragedy, this is what happens to people when they attack a cop. The tragedy here it’s that a good cop is being called a killer and will most likely be out of a job.
Local St. Louis sources said Wilson suffered an “orbital blowout fracture to the
eye socket.” This comes from a source within the Prosecuting
Attorney’s office and confirmed by the St. Louis County Police.
I fully realize that a lot of
questionable and even outright unjustified shootings by the police do happen,
but this is not one of them. Christine
Byers, a reporter from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, is reporting that police
have spoken to more than a DOZEN witnesses who have corroborated Officer
Wilson’s version of events in the shooting! Cops cannot
allow themselves to get beat unconscious and shot to death with their own
weapon without attempting to defend themselves?
I believe the officer will be
indicted because, the grand jury will not hear any of the evidence that would
help clear the cop. They will only the
evidence which tends to make him look guilty. Their job is to decide if the prosecutor has
enough evidence for an indictment and they will only see what evidence the
prosecutor chooses to show them. If and when it actually goes
to trial will be the first time a jury gets to see both sides, so until then,
the deck is stacked against him.
Then during the funeral of
Brown, Obama sent three aids to represent him: Broderick Johnson of My
Brother’s Keeper Task Force; Marlon Marshall, deputy director of the White
House Office of Public Engagement; and Heather Foster, adviser for the Office
of Public Engagement. However there
were five other recent funerals which he didn’t seem to care about.
