Obamacare is a disaster.

This is not what Obama and the Democrats promised the American people.

Over five million people have received cancellation letters stating that they are being kicked off of their insurance because it does not meet the minimal requirements under the Affordable Care Act. Let that sink in for a bit… over 5 million people are being kicked off of their insurance because their old plans don’t offer maternity, dental, and eye coverage. Elderly cancer patients are being kicked off of their insurance because their coverage doesn’t provide maternity or pediatric care. It doesn’t matter that they are too old to have children. They are just one example of people who are being kicked off their coverage and forced to buy more expensive insurance plans for coverage they don’t need! 

After those 5 million Americans being kicked off their insurance, what do we have to show for it? A whopping 364,000 people have “enrolled” in Obamacare. This statistic means absolutely nothing because it doesn’t take into account how many people have actually paid to be covered under Obamacare. 

As the Obama administration celebrates this 364k enrollment figure, they are conveniently leaving out the fact that less than half of all people enrolled have actually paid for insurance yet. Experts estimate that only 150,000 people have actually put in their credit cards and purchased health insurance through the Federal exchange. I am sure that number would be higher if the Obama administration actually bothered to build the part of the website that enables you to pay for insurance.

That’s right, as we’ve told you in the past, the Obama administration forgot to even build the 40% of the website that is devoted to processing payments. So even if you are able to sign on to the website and you pick a more expensive healthcare that you can stomach, you won’t even be able to pay for it online! 

So President Obama has given us healthcare that NONE of us want, at a price that NONE of us can afford, and even if we wanted to, we CAN’T physically purchase it! 

Even if the administration is able to fix the website to allow people to purchase their insurance, there is no way people will be covered by January 1st… And Obama knows this! Obama has “requested” that insurance companies and doctors ignore the fact that people haven’t paid for their coverage and insure them anyway. 

Wait… What? People haven’t paid for their insurance and Obama actually expects insurance companies to just pay people’s medical expenses out of pocket, without any guarantee of being paid back? 

Well, just this week, the insurance companies respectfully told the President that under no circumstances would they provide medical coverage for people who hadn’t paid for it. And you can’t blame the insurance companies for this. It isn’t their fault that the Obamacare rollout has been such a train wreck. Now we are faced with the reality that not only will millions of people enter 2014 without health insurance thanks to Obamacare, but even those who chose an alternative plan won’t receive coverage because there was no way for them to physically pay for it in time! 

It is important to know that Obamacare is doomed to fail in the short-term, but the law will fail even if the administration gets its act together. That’s because the entire system is based on the assumption that there will be enough young and healthy Americans enrolled to pay for the medical coverage of older and sicker enrollees. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like that is ever going to happen. 

If you think about the health insurance marketplace as a pyramid, the ideal situation would be to have a young and healthy foundation to support the few sick people who constantly need coverage. 

However the enrollment and polling data suggests that Obamacare is creating the exact opposite. As more and more sick and elderly people enroll in the Affordable Care Act, there aren’t enough healthy people enrolling to be able to keep premiums low. As it is, the introduction of new enrollees with pre-existing conditions into the insurance pools is already estimated to increase the average American’s insurance premiums by 33%! That’s right… instead of the $2,500 reduction that President Obama promised, we are actually slated to see our yearly insurance premiums increase by $2,500. The President lied to you. Are you just going to sit back and watch Obamacare tank the U.S. economy? 

But all this is still assuming that young and healthy people will be enrolling in Obamacare. And if recent polling is any indication, the vast majority of young Americans have absolutely no plan to overpay for health insurance under Obamacare… 

A recent Harvard University poll has found that only 29% of young Americans, ages 18-29, have any plans to enroll in the Obamacare exchanges. Only 10% of respondents said that they would definitely be enrolling, while 19% responded that they would probably enroll in the healthcare exchanges. These are abysmal numbers. 

It’s no wonder that the Obama administration has reached out to Hollywood to try and sell this train wreck legislation to America’s youth. 

But it has come to the point where we must open our eyes and recognize that no amount of money or willpower is going to make this flawed healthcare law work. The warning signs are there. If we continue down this path, we will eventually come to the point where there is no turning back. 

The 2014 midterm elections will be a referendum on this horrible law and if the public polling numbers are to be believed, the vast majority of Americans want this healthcare law repealed. The American people now know what we knew all along: The math just doesn’t add up and President Obama has lied to us from the beginning! 

Unfortunately, while the public is outraged over Obamacare, we cannot rely on them to bring about the change we need. Everyone is watching this healthcare law crumble and saying to themselves, “I’m sure someone else will do something about it.” 

Only you can force Congress to see the writing on the wall. Obamacare will fail and every Representative and Senator who refused to act will lose their reelection. Threatening their job security is the only language that these career politicians understand! 

Imagine if everyone simultaneously faxed Congress to smack some sense into them! Together we will overwhelm Congress with faxes to the point where they cannot ignore us anymore!
