CAN TRUMP GET ENOUGH OF THE HISPANIC VOTE TO WIN THE ELECTION

CAN DONALD TRUMP GET ENOUGH OF THE HISPANIC VOTE TO WIN THE ELECTION AFTER ALL HE HAS SAID ABOUT ILLEGAL ALIENS?
Presidential candidate Donald Trump leads other GOP contenders among Hispanics, a recent poll shows.

Trump recorded a 34% favorability rating among Hispanics in a national poll conducted by Public Policy Polling (PPP) among 1,087 registered voters between July 20-21.
Trump has made immigration a seminal part of his campaign, receiving praise, but also criticism, from the political left and right.

During a much-publicized visit to the border in Laredo, TX last Thursday, Trump told reporters he thought he would "win the Hispanic vote."

Gov. Bush (R-FL) follows Trump with a 31% favorability rating among Hispanics, and Senator Cruz is close behind with 30%.

Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Rand Paul (R-KY) both recorded 29%, Gov. Scott Walker (WI-R) 26%, and businesswoman Carly Fiorina 25%.

Rounding out the poll was Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ) with 21%, and former Gov. Mike Huckabee (R-AR) and neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson, both with 16%.

So; Hispanics like Trump better than Jeb Bush, whose wife hails from Mexico and who frequently delivers campaign messages in fluent Spanish.

And they like him better than Red Cruz and Marco Rubio, both of whom are of Latino descent.

And they like him better that Gov. Chris Christie who is one of the most pro-illegal candidates of them all.  In fact, he even offered in-state tuition to illegal immigrants in the Garden State.

Donald Trump recently took a trip to the famous Texas border town of Laredo.  The population of 250,000 is made up of 95.6 percent Hispanic or Latino residents, so he was in the right place to speak his mind about illegal immigration.

Much to the liberal media’s surprise, the reaction from local residents wasn’t at all what they expected.  Many Latino residents interviewed by the dozens of news reporters on location expressed their anger at the growing threat of illegal immigration and how it has made the town they grew up in a dangerous, scary place to live.

“I think he’s right,” said 79-year-old Jessica Gonzalez. “All we have is people from foreign countries. … It’s not like it used to be.”

Gonzalez said she was a Democrat, said she and her husband used to go shopping at the many stores in and around the area, including south of the border. But not anymore, she said. The danger from drug cartel violence is simply too real and too close to home.
“I want to go down and say: Donald Trump, you’re on fire in Laredo! Because everybody feels what you think!” Gonzalez said.

Enrique Harrington Ramon, a 75-year-old resident of the town, told a reporter that he thinks Trump is resonating with the people “because it’s the truth.” He also explained that he felt like illegal immigrants are “taking advantage of us” (H/T WZ).

Most of the liberal media flocked to the border town with hopes of watching Trump, who was escorted by a heavy security team, say something so outrageous that it would finally take him out of the race.  Instead, they watched as Trump was cheered and celebrated by the brave Hispanic and Latino residents of the city who are sick and tired of watching illegal aliens take advantage of what they worked so hard to build.
