Dear Senator McCain, I am writing this to inform you that today I scraped the McCain for President Sticker off my car bumper.  I scraped it off a couple of years ago and replaced it with a new one because it had become barely readable.  This time however I will not be replacing it unless and until a Rand Paul for President Sticker becomes available.

The reason for this action was your snide and uncalled for remark about Senator Paul’s filibuster being nothing more than a "political stunt" used to "fire up impressionable libertarian kids in their college dorms.

Mr. McCain, I am not a libertarian college kid.  I am a 74 year old veteran of eight years active duty military service and I consider myself to be a mainstream Republican, and I was extremely offended and disappointed by that remark.

It is RINO’s like you and Senator Lindsey Graham that has allowed this country to become the de facto socialistic dictatorship that it now is.  Both of you should retire and yield your seat to younger more capable true constitutional conservatives.

I do thank you for your many years of service to our country, especially the military years.  But that was then and this is now.  As a former military officer, I’m sure you’re familiar with the phrase “lead, follow, or get out of the way”.

It’s time to get out of the way.
