ANOTHER GOVERNMENT SCANDAL DISCOVERED

Another Government Agency is Violating the Constitutional Rights of American Citizens.

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is harvesting data from intelligence intercepts, wiretaps, informants and a massive database of telephone records, and funneling it to jurisdictions across the country on anyone and everyone to help federal, state and local authorities open domestic cases.   This is of course unconstitutional.

The unit responsible for this outrage is called the Special Operations Division, referred to as SOD.   According to Reuters, SOD members have been gathering data from over two dozen “partner” agencies which include the FBI, CIA, NSA, the IRS, and the Department of Homeland Security.   They have an annual budget estimated at $125 million with hundreds of employees.

The SOD documents present evidence that “law enforcement agents have been directed to conceal how such investigations truly begin — not only from defense lawyers but also sometimes from prosecutors and judges.”

This clearly illegal activity MAY cause some recent convictions to be overturned and criminals set free.
