TSA employee misconduct up 26% in 3 years

Part of the problem may be the fact that our government believes it is wrong do run a criminal background check on job applicants.The cases include not just theft, but in at least one case paying off a supervisor so that the thefts could continue.
Of course, the story reports that the TSA Union assures us that there is nothing scandalous about the TSA as a whole. Due to the immense size of the TSA we should regard these crimes as a drop in the bucket.
Well, that doesn't mean they shouldn't be fired...
