This is yet another example of why we need to return to old
school programs. Anyone over 60 likely
remembers how it used to be done. No
funny money, no benefit card. If you did
not have enough to eat and you qualified for help, you were given food. REAL FOOD,
like a large bag of beans, powdered milk, flour, rice, and cheese.
No debit cards that can be used for booze, cigarettes, and
drugs. It has become far too easy to
sponge off the system.
