UPDATE TO “THESE COPS GO WAY TOO FAR” BLOG

I am happy – no, make that ecstatic to report Eckert is suing both the police department and the hospital.  And when it goes to court, I hope he gets a judge that still believes in the constitution, and I hope he bankrupts them both.

We cannot and must not allow this sort of thing to continue.  This is just yet another example of police power gone wild.   If this incident weren’t so well-documented, I would think it was made up by a fiction writer with a wild perverted imagination.
