James Comey Broke with Loretta Lynch and Justice Department Tradition

On Friday, James Comey, the director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, acting independently of Attorney General Loretta Lynch, sent a letter to Congress saying that the F.B.I. had discovered e-mails that were potentially relevant to the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s private server. Coming less than two weeks before the Presidential election, Comey’s decision to make public new evidence that may raise additional legal questions about Clinton was contrary to the views of the Attorney General, according to a well-informed Administration official. Lynch expressed her preference that Comey follow the department’s longstanding practice of not commenting on ongoing investigations, and not taking any action that could influence the outcome of an election, but he said that he felt compelled to do otherwise.

Well, it seems to me that he really had no other choice.  Attorney General Loretta Lynch seems to have forgotten that she works for the American people, not Obama, or Hillary, or the Democratic Party.  She has already demonstrated where her misplaced loyalties lie.

It's very obvious to me, that the American political system is breaking down. It's been in shambles every sense Bill Clinton became President, and has continued to deteriorate over the years.   The establishment elite of BOTH parties know it and don’t really care as long as they continue to get wealthy off of the corrupt system.  Now they are properly frightened as they see Donald Trump preparing to clean up the mess, or as he put it, to “drain the swamp in Washington”.

So; in light of all these developments just before the election, what will Hillary do?  Judging by her actions so far, and her history, I say she'll hang in there and ride this out and turn her anger toward Comey.  For Hillary and Bill Clinton, it has always been about power, and money.  They have never given a rat’s behind about this country.

I pray that this woman never holds another high government position, and certainly not the office of President.  She has clearly disqualified herself from ever coming near classified information again.   As secretary of state she kept classified documents on the home-brew server in her basement, which is against the law.  She lied about it to the American people.  She couldn't remember details dozens of times when questioned by the FBI.  Her aides destroyed evidence by BleachBit and hammers.  Her husband, Bill, met secretly on an airport tarmac with Attorney General Loretta Lynch for about a half-hour, and all they said they talked about was golf and the grandkids.

And there was never any prosecution of Hillary.  That isn't merely wrong and unethical.  It is a clear example of just how corrupt our federal government has become.  Trump is spot on when he says it’s time to drain the swamp in Washington.
