Democrats Shifting to Republican

It is the current 18-29 demographic that reports the highest Democrat leaning percentage with an 18% Democrat advantage, but given the statistics this seems likely to be the most Democrat they will ever be.  Historically, statistically speaking, as this demographic ages they will likely shift back and forth, but largely move in a Republican direction.

 This reminds me of something I heard many years ago.  I don’t remember who said it, and I am paraphrasing, but it went something like this.   “If you are A Republican as a child, you have no heart.  If you are A Democrat as an adult, you have no brain”.
