Utah lawmaker moves to disarm BLM, IRS, says ‘They’re not paramilitary units’
OF COURSE THEY SHOULD BE DISARMED!
THEY NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN ARMED IN THE
FIRST PLACE, EXCEPT PERHAPS WITH HANDGUNS.
The job of the BLM is to MANAGE federal land. The
job of the IRS is to audit and process federal income tax
returns. Nether of which requires that
they be armed. I believe SOME members of
the BLM, such as park rangers, and perhaps even SOME IRS agents may need to be armed with handguns. However they do not need to have assault weapons
and sniper rifles.
If the federal government needs
civilian agents armed with more firepower than a handgun, that’s what the FBI
is for. I could be wrong, but I believe handguns
were all they had until King Obama turned them into a paramilitary assault force.
